When students are required to write a position paper, or similar argumentative essay, this graphic organizer will help them organize their thoughts into a series of three supporting reason and one rebuttal position. This web may be expanded upon by the student to include more reasons or rebuttals. It also serves as a way to organize research or close read an argumentative piece.

This lesson discusses gender norms in advertising through repeated viewings of commercial meant for girls and a commercial meant for boys.
