Welcome to my Literacy Webpage!!
As an English Major, the English Language Arts is one of my firsts loves. It teaches many of the crucial skills students will use throughout their life. It is not just their ability to read and write, but their ability to empathize, comprehend, visualize, express emotion, build relationships, and so much more. ELA is a way to articulate the obvious, and express the inexpressible, all in one subject. The skills learnt in this subject connect to all the others, and as such, it is vital to effectively teach students the skills necessary so that they may reach their full potential.
Please follow the links to some of the activities and resources I have for teaching this wonderful subject.
